Hi everyone, this may be a little late (is 5 years too late? 😅), but we would like to introduce ourselves to the world here.
We are…
- a coaching clinic that provides life & wellness coaching
- an advocate for mentoring as a means to ensure knowledge, wisdom & experience are passed onto the next generation
- an International Coaching Federation accredited coach training provider
Our work is guided by the simple ethos of creating impact; and our impact is focused on five areas: People, Society, Governance, Environment & Economy.
People
Jade Life shapes its people-focused impact area in the following ways:
- Fair remuneration: timely wages, industry benchmarking to match compensation, progressive wage model.
- Healthcare protection: outpatient healthcare benefits, policies and initiatives on employees’ mental health and wellbeing.
- Workplace safety policies: regular safety and health training, formal safety reporting system, access to safety equipment, Workplace Safety and Health Act.
- Career advancement opportunities: encourage internal promotions, clear career progression pathways
- Workforce upskilling: workforce training, enhanced skill sets, mentorship, Workforce Skills Qualifications.
- Diversity and inclusion: non-discriminatory hiring practices, facilities designed to meet accessibility requirements, alignment to the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP)
- Work life harmony: adequate rest days, flexible working arrangements
Society
On this front, our beneficiaries include- low-income communities, chronically unemployed, people with mental health conditions, youth at risk, single parents, organisations in the social sector. These beneficiaries are mainly in SG, some overseas. The gap we are addressing includes – mental health conditions, lack of financial ability, lack of industry specific expertise in social organisations. The primary social impact is providing accessible services to beneficiaries through life and wellness coaching, the secondary impact is providing services to build capacity of organisations in the social sector through team coaching and subsidised coaching, and finally, providing inclusive employment opportunities for beneficiaries through career coaching. We can offer pro-bono coaching services to charities. We are also able to customise the coaching solutions to best fit the beneficiaries.
Governance
We are committed to crafting our policies and guidelines in accordance with the latest and best practices in the corporate governance to ensure we remain competitive and up-to-date within our industry. This commitment is also part of our vision to provide a conducive and inspiring workplace for all employees.
Environment
We run our operations while being mindful of conservation and sustainability. These include the use of resource-saving measures like energy-saving lights and flow-reduction devices. Policies to help reduce greenhouse emissions like carpooling, organisation-wide waste reduction and recovery, and support of working with eco-friendly spaces, are encouraged.
Economy
Our business model is designed to be intentional; be it to benefit specific issues/causes (e.g. focusing on underserved communities) or to prioritise and utilise local businesses and suppliers.
The past few years have been truly amazing as we worked hard to build up our brand, forge new connections, and develop passionate, credentialled coaches. Most importantly, this journey of delivering impact across so many individuals and organisations, creates a powerful, generative cycle of hope that is truly encouraging to be a part of.
Excited for the Future
The path forward is going to be filled with new adventures and collaborations across our life and wellness coaching areas. We look forward to contributing even more to the exciting personal development and coaching landscape here in Singapore.
